CamSnap
is like a similar $99 hardware device, but more versatile. Imagine;
with a digital or photo camera, you are limited to the capture of the
'moment' often the photo that you wanted was taken a split second
late or earlier than it should have been. With your CamCorder and
CamSnap, you can select the exact frame that you require. Then
CamSnap goes to work on your PC. With its enhancement techniques
CamSnap can produce brilliant photos. When your photo is ready, you
can Snap it to the Clipboard, Save it to a file as BMP, compressed
BMP or JPEG, or JPEG series for a whole photo session.

Sounds good - what are
minimum requirements?
P166, 32 meg, pref multimedia,
must have a Video Capture card. CamCorder. CamSnap
Software.
Video Capture Card - is it
the same as my video card?
No, it is a special card
which has similar inputs to your VCR to allow video processing from
external sources on your PC. We feel every PC should come with
a capture card because they are so useful. Included in the many
functions that they can do for you is video conferencing, which lets
you talk and see friends, family or business associates over the net
in real-time and at miniscule online costs. The good news is these
cards are not expensive. You should be able to get one for <$US50.
But my capture system
already has 'Frame Capture', what does CamSnap do thats
different?
The only similarity between 'Frame Capture'
and CamSnap is that Frame Capture is only a starting point. It lets
my software know which frame is your desired one. From then on,
additional processing provides you with quality pictures. For example
a 360 dpi (low quality) video camera should produce through CamSnap
very reasonable pictures. A typical Sony middle of the range camera
which has a resolution around 500 dpi will give excellent pictures.
Ensure if you are buying a Capture Card
that it has VIDEO OVERLAY mode.
